355RESOLUTION NO 9Sis A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ELECTION CLERK, INSPECTORS AND A SPECIAL OFFICER FOR THE PRIMARY CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA OCTOBER 20, A.D., 1970. WHEREAS A Primary City election shall be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on October 20, 1970 and WHEREAS, it is necessary that an election clerk, inspectors and a special officer be appointed, in compliance with the charter laws of the City of Edgewater, Florida. NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA- SECTION 1. That Lilly Williams be and she is hereby designated and appointed election clerk for the Primary City Election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on October 20, A.D. 1970 with full power and authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the charter and ordinances of said City and the laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 2. That Loretta Cooper, Rose Angers, Doris Roush, Bertha Britian, Mary LeClair and JoAnne Sikes be, and they are hereby de- signated and appointed inspectors for the Primary City Election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on October 20, 1970 with full authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the charter and ordinances of said City and the laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 4. That Troy Reynolds be, -.and he is hereby designated and appointed as Special Officer for the Primary Election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on October 20, 1970 with full power and authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the charter and ordinances of said City and the laws of the State of Florida. ��5 SECTION 6. Be it further resolved that all resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby re- scinded. The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman Fugate , who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman Ledbetter , and upon roll call vote the said resolution was duly declared adopted at the regular meeting of the said City Council held on October 5, 1970.
