A RESOLUTION RE -HIRING ALVIN R. SHIPPEE
BY THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
NAMING AND APPOINTING HIM AS SUPERINTENDENT®
OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT, SETTING HIS 7
SALARY, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREFOR. 9*14
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATE74�
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Alvin R. Shippee be and he is hereby
rehired by the City of Edgewater, Florida and he is hereby
named and appointed as Superintendent of the Street Depart-
ment for the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That the said Alvin R. Shippee shall serve
as Superintendent of the Street Department at the pleasure
of the City Council.

SECTION 3. That the said Alvin R. Shippee as Super-
intendent shall receive as and for compensation the sum of
Four Hundred and Fifty ($450.00) Dollars per month.
SECTION 4. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by
Councilman Wiggins who moved its adoption, said motion being
Mayor
seconded by Geumed;l=n Cairnie , and, upon roll call
vote, the said Resolution was duly declared adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida held on the 16th day of November A.D., 1970, the
of said Council upon roll call being as follows:
