A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
414 HERETOFORE ADOPTED SO AS TO EXTTW
THE PERIOD OF TIME IN WHICH THE CHIEF
OF POLICE HAROLD D. DOUNHOO IS REQUIRED
TO MOVE INTO THE CITY OF EDGEWATER AND
FURTHER EXTENDING THE TIME IN WHICH HIS
RATE OF PAY IS TO BE INCREASED FROM
$550.00 PER MONTH TO $600.00 PER MONTH;
PROVIDING THAT SAID EXTENSION TIME IS
FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY DAYS; PROVIDING
THAT RESOLUTION NO. 414 SHALL REMAIN IN
FULL FORCE AND EFFECT EXCEPT AS41`
SPECIFICALLY HEREIN AMENDED AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FL40RIDA:
SECTION 1. That Resolution No. 414 of the City of
Edgewater, Florida hiring and appointing and employing
Harold D. Dounhoo as Chief of Police be and the same is hereby
anended so as to amend Section 3. thereof to read as follows:
SECTION 3. That the said Harold D. Dounhoo
shall serve a. probationary period of four (4) months, unless
his employment is sooner terminated and during said probationary
period he shall be paid the sum of $550.00 per month. After
serving said probationary period the said Harold D. Dounhoo
shall receive compensation at the rate of $600.00 per month.
SECTION 2. That this amendment shall be retroactive in
effect from October 18, 1971.
SECTION 3. That all parts and sections of Resolution No.
414 that are not in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby specifically readopted.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval
by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by
Councilman Wi99jns who moved its adoption, said motion
being seconded by Councilman Severance , and, upon roll
call vote, the said Resolution was duly declared adopted at
a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida held on the 17th day of January A.D., 1972; the
vote of said Council upon roll call being as follows:
