431RESOLUTION NO. 4,871 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF WATKINS FORD, INC. FOR A 1972 FORD POLICE CRUISER PER SPECIFICATIONS, WITHOUT TRADE, FOR THE SUM OF $3,299.00, REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. M WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida has issued invitations to bid on a police cruiser, and WHEREAS, bids have been received and have been considered by the City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of accepting the bid of Watkins Ford, Inc., New Smyrna Beach, Florida. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the bid of Watkins Ford, Inc. of New Smyrna Beach, Florida for a 1972 Ford Police Cruiser as per specifications heretofore furnished by the City and submitted by Watkins Ford, Inc. for the sum of $3,299.00 without trade be and the same is hereby accepted. SECTION 2. That all other bids be and the same are hereby rejected. SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by Councilman Wiggins who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman Crigger , and, upon roll call vote, the said Resolution was duly declared adopted at a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida held on the 9th day of March A.D., 1972; the vote of said Council upon roll call being as follows: AT ST: City Clerk Approved this 9th day of March AA.D., 1972.
