RESOLUTION NO. 433
A RESOLUTION EMPLOYING AND APPOINTING
ALFRED GREEN SPECIAL COUNSEL TO DEFEND
THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA IN THE
LAWSUIT BROUGHT BY HAROLD H. HALL
AGAINST THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
TO SERVE AT THE WILL OF THE CITY COUNCIL,
SETTING FORTH HIS COMPENSATION, SETTING
FORTH HIS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Alfred Green be and he is hereby employed and
appointed as special counsel to defend the City of Edgewater, Florida in
the lawsuit brought by Harold H. Hall against the City of Edgewater,
Florida. The said Alfred Green is to serve in the above capacity at the
will of the City Council.
SECTION 2. That the said Alfred Green shall be compensated by the
City of Edgewater, Florida as follows:
Work done within the offices of Alfred Green,
$20.00 per hour.
Work done outside of said offices, $25.00 per hour.
SECTION 3. That the said Alfred Green shall have those duties and
responsibilities as are prescribed under the Constitution and Laws of the
State of Florida and the Charter, Ordinances and Resolutions of the City
of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 4, That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect retroactively to
the 3rd day of May, 1972, upon its adoption by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by Councilman
Crigger , who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded
by Councilman Severance , and upon roll call vote, the said
Resolution was duly declared adopted at a duly called Special
Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, held
on the Sth day of May, A.D. 1972; the vote of said Council upon
roll call being as follows:
