A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS
OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL AGENCIES OF THE STATE
OF FLORIDA CONCERNING THE PROPOSED SEA -
WALLING OF THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PARK AND'��,.,,
PIER AREA IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the Environmental Agencies of the State of Florida have
recommended to the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement
Trust Fund that the wall to be built on the north side of the Park
and Pier Area be constructed of a sloping rip -rap type of wall.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the recommendations of the environmental
agencies of the State of Florida referring to the construction of a
sloping rip -rap type of seawall on the north side of the Park and
Pier Area in the City of Edgewater, Florida are hereby adopted by the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby amends the application
filed with the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund
to reflect the use of rip -rap type of construction for the proposed
seawall and the City Council further directs the City Attorney to forward
any revised drawings which may be necessary to reflect this type of
construction to the Board of Trustees.
SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by Councilman
Crigger
who moved Its adoption, said motion being
Clinton
seconded by Councilman , and, upon roll
call vote, the said Resolution was duly declared adopted at a regular

meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, held
on the syn day of February, 1973, the vote of said Council upon
roll call being as follows:
