RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO VACATE PROGRESS STREET
IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREFORE. n..1Aq
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida has been
advised that Progress Street is an unopened, unrecorded, platted dead-end
street which serves no residential area or citizen of the City of Edgewater,
Florida,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida hereby
expresses its intent to vacate Progress Street In the City of Edgewater,
Florida.
SECTION 2. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith
be rescinded.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by Councilman Crigger
who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded
by Councilman Severance , and upon roll call vote, the said
Resolution was duly declared adopted at a regularmeeting of the City Council of
the City of Edgewater, Florida, held on the 4th day of June, A.D. 1973; the vote
of said Council upon roll call being as follows:
