RESOLUTION NO, 47n
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING FEDERAL REVENUE
SHARING FUNDS FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING
JANUARY 1, 1973 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1973 TO THE
CATEGORY OF PUBLIC SAFETY, AND FURTHER
PROVIDING FOR DISTRIBUTION WITHIN THE CATEGORY
OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE THEREFOR.
W HE REAS , the City of Edgewater contemplates receipt of Federal
Revenue Sharing Rinds in the amount of Eighteen Thousand Nine Hundred
Eighty and no/100 ($18,980.00) Dollars for the period beginning January
1, 1973 and ending June 30, 1973, and
WHEREAS , the City of Edgewater is required to allocate these
funds into the priorities established by the Office of Revenue Sharing,
Department of Treasury, Washington D.C.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the Eighteen Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty
and no/100 ($18,980.00) Dollars to be received from Revenue Sharing
Funds for the period beginning January 1, 1973 and ending June 30, 1973
is hereby allocated into the priority of Public Safety for the City of Edgewater,
Florida.
SECTION 2. That said funds shall be distributed within the category of
Public Safety as follows, to -wit: Eight Thousand and no/100 ($8,000.00)
Dollars to be used for Fire Station capital expenditures; Ten Thousand Nine
Hundred Eighty and no/100 ($10,980.00) Dollars to be used in the Police
Department for operation and maintenance expenditures.
SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing Resolution was presented by Councilman
Severance who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded
by Councilman Bevel , and, upon roll call

vote, the said Resolution was duly delcaredadopted at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, held on the 18th day of
June, 1973, the vote of said Council upon roll call being as follows:
