RESOLUTION NO. 6An A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ELECTION CLERK, INSPECTORS AND A SPECIAL OFFICER FOR THE PRIMARY CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA'0 OCTOBER 23 , A.D., 1973 AND THE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 6, 1973. WHEREAS, a Primary Election and General Election shall be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on October 23, 1973 and November 6, 1973, respectively, and WHEREAS, it is necessary that an election clerk, inspectors and a special officer be appointed, in compliance with the charter laws of the City of Edgewater, Florida. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That William G. Negedly be and he is hereby designated and appointed election clerk for the Primary City Election and General Election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on October 23, A.D. 1973 and November 6, 1973, respectively, with full power and authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the charter and ordinances of said City and the laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 2. That Robert T. Taylor, Elizabeth M. Taylor, Rose C. Angers, Loretta V. Cooper, Jo Anne Sikes, Edward Mathis, Elsie L. Ward and Patricia A. Svoboda be, and they are hereby designated and appointed inspecyors for the Primary City Election and General Election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida on October 23, 1973 and November 6, 1973, respectively, with full authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the charter and ordinances of said City and the laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 3. That Philip H. Bebbington be, and he is hereby designated and appointed as Special Officer for the Primary Election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on October 23, 1973 with full power and authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by a'bb the charter and ordinances of said City and the laws of the State of Florida. The said Philip H. Bebbington shall also serve as special officer in the November 6, 1973 General Election if the Volusia County Special Officer is unable to attend. SECTION 4. Be it further resolved that all resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith ve and the same are hereby rescinded. The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman N iNTON , who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman and upon roll call vote the said resolution was duly declared adopted at the REGULAR meeting of the said City Council held on the 1st day of October , 1973.
