A RESOLUTION GRANTING S. O. GOLDSMITH OF
325 NORTH CAUSEWAY, #B106, NEW SMYRNA BEACH,
FLORIDA A PERMIT TO SEAWALL, DREDGE AND CONSTRUCT
A BOAT BASIN AND DOCK IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA LYING ON THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LAND:
THE EAST 68 FEET OF THE SOUTH 43 FEET OF THE NORTH
193 FEET OF THE WEST 400 FEET OF LOT 4-L AND THE
EAST PART OF THE NORTH 240 FEET OF LOT 4-L SOUTH OF
LAMONT STREET BEING 245.33 FEET ON NORTH LINE AND
268 FEET OF THE SOUTH LINE, EXCEPT THE NORTH 100
FEET AND SUBMERGED AND SEMI -SUBMERGED LAND
EXTENDING 370 FEET EAST OF RIVERSIDE DRIVE EXCEPT THE
NORTH 100 FEET. ALVAREZ GRANT AS RECORDED IN MAP
BOOK 3, PAGE 137, OFFICIAL RECORDS OF VOLUSIA COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFORE.
WHEREAS, Mr. S. O. Goldsmith of 325 North Causeway, #B106,
New Smyrna Beach, Florida has submitted supporting documents and an
application for a permit to dredge and construct a seawall, dock and boat
basin on his property line within the corporate limits of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, and finding said application to be in compliance with Chapter 253,
Florida Statutes,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Mr. S. O. Goldsmith of 325 North Causeway, #B106,
New Smyrna Beach, Florida, is hereby granted a permit to seawall, dredge
and construct a boat basin and dock within the corporate limits of the City
of Edgewater, Florida on the following described real property:
The East 68 feet of the South 43 feet of the North 193
feet of the West 400 feet of Lot 4-L and the East part of
the North 240 feet of Lot 4-L South of Lamont Street being
245.33 feet on North line and 268 feet of the South line,
except the North 100 feet and submerged and semi -submerged
land extending 370 feet East of Riverside Drive except the
North 100 feet. ALVAREZ GRANT as recorded in Map Book 3,
Page 137, Official Records of Volusia County, Florida.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this Resolution shall serve as the
permit including therein the application and supporting documents by reference.
SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.

SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise this
Resolutions as required by law.
SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor at second reading.
The foregoing Resolution was presented by Councilman Cr4ger ,
who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman
Severance
The first reading of the above Resolution was read in full and passed by
vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a Reaul ar
meeting of said Council held on the Igth day of October , A.D., 1973
and approved as provided by law.
The second reading of said Resolution to be at a Regular
meeting of the City Council to be held on the 5th day of November ,
A.D., 1973, roll call vote being as follows:
