660V 9 RESOLUTION N0._�p( A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING WILLIAM A. RICKELMAN AS THE INVESTIGATOR FOR THE EDGEWATER POLICE DEPART- MENT, SETTING FORTH HIS WAGES, REPEALING ALL RESO- LUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EF- FECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. WHEREAS, under the terms of Public Law 90-351 as amended, the United States of America has authorized the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration, through the Florida Bureau of Criminal Justice Planning and Assistance, to make Federal Grants to assist local governments in the improvement of criminal justice, and WHEREAS, the City applied for a grant from L.E.A.A. (Law Enforcement Assistance Administration) and said grant was approved establishing an investigative unit, and WHEREAS William A. Rickelman's name was submitted in said application, NOW THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That William A. Rickelman is hereby designated as investigator for the Edgewater Police Department. SECTION 2. That William A. Rickelman will receive $4.69 per hour as stated in the application for the grant, and he will receive all back pay from the effective date of the grant, said date being April 1, 1976. SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.
