661t o RESOLUTION NO. �(n� A RESOLUTION EMPLOYING WATT McBRAYER AS LABOR NEGOTIATOR TO NEGOTIATE A CON- TRACT WITH THE VOLUSIA COUNTY POLICE BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, SETTING COMPENSATION ` 9� AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. W HE R E AS, The City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida is desirous of employing Watt McBrayer as their labor negotiator to negotiate a contract with the Volusia County Police Benevolent Association, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. The City of Edgewater hereby employs Watt McBrayer as their negotiator in pending labor negotiations between the City of Edgewater, Florida and the Volusia County Police Benevolent Association. For his services to be rendered to the City of Edgewater, Florida, Watt McBrayer shall be paid at the rate of Seventy Five ($75.00) Dollars per one-half (1/2) day or any portion thereof, or One Hundred Fifty ($150.00) Dollars per day. In no event shall the compensation paid to Watt McBrayer exceed Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars. SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Watt McBrayer, as labor negotiator, for the City of Edgewater, Florida. SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.
