669G RESOLUTION NO. Cm A RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO INCREASE THE SCHEDULE OF RATES FOR THE SERVICE OF COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE AND TRASH IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA AND TO ADOPT THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, SETTING A TIME, PLACE, AND DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON SAME, 700 REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. WHEREAS, it has become apparent that the rates for the service of collection and disposal of garbage and trash in the City of Edgewater, Florida will have to be increased, and, WHEREAS, it is necessary to hold a public hearing on the adoption of the city budget for the City of Edgewater, Florida for the fiscal year. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida intends to adopt a new schedule of rates for the service of collection and disposal of garbage and trash in the City of Edgewater, Florida as follows: Residence: $3.50 with 3 can limit, and maintain the $1.00 per additional can thereafter charge. Multiple Dwelling: $3.50 per unit with 3 can limit for individual pickup; $2.75 per unit if garbage and trash are centrally located. Business or Commercial: $5.00 per business or commercial unit with a maximum of 3 cans; $1.00 per additional can thereafter charge. Professional $3.50 with a 3 can limit; $1.00 per additional can thereafter charge. Trailer Parks: $3.50 per trailer, or $2.75 per trailer if garbage and trash are centrally located. SECTION 2. That a meeting will be held on September 9, 1976 at' 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center, Edgewater, Florida to consider the adoption of a new schedule of rates for the collection of garbage and trash and for the adoption of the budget for the City of Edgewater, Florida c for the fiscal year. SECTION 3. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.
