689U RESOLUTION NO. 10 0 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JUDSON I. I WOODS, JR. AS ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, w SETTING FORTH THE TERMS OF HIS REMUNERA- TION, REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, from time to time William M. Gillespie, the City Attorney for the City of Edgewater, Florida, may be temporarily absent from his duties as City Attorney of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and WHEREAS, it is necessary that an Assistant City Attorney be designated to act when the said William M. Gillespie is absent from his duties as Attorney for the City of Edgewater, Florida in order that the interests of the City of Edgewater, Florida will always be adequately protected, and WHEREAS, William M. Gillespie has requested the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida to designate Judson I. Woods, Jr. as Assistant City Attorney to serve in his absence, and WHEREAS, Judson I. Woods, Jr. has agreed to serve as Assistant City Attorney during the absence of William M. Gillespie. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Judson I. Woods, Jr. be and he is hereby appointed Assistant City Attorney of the City of Edgewater, Florida to serve only during the times that William M. Gillespie is absent from his duties as City Attorney for the City of Edgewater, Florida. SECTION 2: That Judson I. Woods, Jr. shall be paid for his services as Assistant City Attorney. dfAhe City of Edgewater, Florida the sum of $40. 00 per hour for each and every hour spent while acting in this capacity as Assistant City Attorney. SECTION 3: That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. SECTION 5: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.
