A RESOLUTION APPOINTING WILLIAM C.
NICHOLS TO THE ZONING BOARD OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA TO SERVE
THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF ROBERT TAYLOR:
REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, a vacancy now exists on the Zoning Board of the City of
Edgewater, Florida due to the resignation of Robert Taylor, and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida to immediately fill this vacancy by the appointment of a citizen of the
City of Edgewater, Florida, and
WHEREAS, William C. Nichols is willing to accept the appointment as a
member of the Zoning Board and the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, has unanimously approved the appointment of William C. Nichols
to the Zoning Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That William C. Nichols is hereby appointed to fill the existing
vacancy on the Zoning Board of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
Section 2. That William C. Nichols shall serve the unexpired term of
Robert Taylor, who has resigned his position on the Zoning Board due to ill
health.
Section 3. That the above -named individual shall have all the rights, powers,
duties and responsibilities as may be provided in the constitution and laws of the
State of Florida and Ordinances and Resolutions of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
Section 4. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby rescinded.
Section 5. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.
