79Resolution #79 RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION AND EXPRESSING GRATITUDE TO THE HONORABLE JAMES H. SWEENEY, JR. FOR ASSISTANCE RENDERED THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AT THE 1965 SESSION OF THE LEGISLATURE AND FOR HIS MANY COURTESIES RENDERED SUBSEQUENT TO SAID LEGISLATIVE SESSION. WHEREAS, the Honorable James H. Sweeney, Jr., a member of the Legislature from Volusia County, Florida, at the 1965 Session of the Legislature of the State of Florida extended many courtesies and was of invaluable assistance to the City of Edgewater. AND WHEREAS, the City of Edgewater, Florida, is desirous of expressing appreciation and gratitude to Legislator, James H. Sweeney, Jr., NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, in meeting duly assembled at the City Hall, Edgewater, Florida, on this 2nd day of August, A.D., 1965, as follows: 1. That the City of Edgewater, Florida, through its Mayor and City Council and City Attorney, express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Honorable James H. Sweeney, Jr., for his many courtesies and assistance given to the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the 1965 Session of the Legislature of the State of Florida. 2. That this Resolution be spread at large upon the minutes of this meeting that a duly attested copy be forwarded by mail to the Honorable James H. Sweeney, Jr. The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Council- man Carl A. SSller , who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman Karl L.
