99RESOLUTION NO. 99
A RESOLUTION NAMING AN ACTING MAYOR IN THE
ABSENCE OF THE ELECTED MAYOR, AND AUTHORIZING
SAID ACTING MAYOR TO SIGN VOUCHERS, CHECKS,
WARRANTS AND OTHER PAPERS OF A SIMILAR NATURE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Volusia County, Florida, hereby appoints Jacob Lodico as Acting
Mayor in the absence of the elected Mayor of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That the Acting Mayor aforesaid hereby is given
the authority to sign vouchers, checks, warrants and other instru-
ments of a similar nature in the absence of the elected mayor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all resolutions or parts of resolu-
tions in conflict herewith be and the same hereby are rescinded.
The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman
Cairnie who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded
by Councilman `"raps and upon roll call vote, said
resolution was duly declared adopted at the Special 1'eeting of said
Council held on the 3rd day of December, A.D. 1965, the vote on
said roll call of said Council being as follows:
