RESOLUTION PERTAIlQING TC THE REGULATION
OF MAIL RECEIVED BY THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council, City of
Edgewater, Florida, that there has been no orderly distribution of the mail
delivered to said City.
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
that all mail addressed to the City of Edgewater, Florida be received by one
person designated to be the Mail Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida:
SECTION 1. That the City Clerk or a Deputy City Clerk shall be
assigned to the duty of being the mail clerk, and shall distribute all mail
received by the City of Edgewater, Florida, to the various department heads
concerned.
SECTION 2. That the Mail Clerk, shall upon receipt of all mail
addressed to the City of Edgewater, log said mail in a book designated to be the
Mail Log and therefore maintain a record of all mail received by the said City,
excepting therefrom that mail received relative to the payment of utility accounts.
SECTION 3. Be it further resolved, that all resolutions and parts of
resolutions in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above and foregoing was presented by Councilman wails
who moved its adoption; said motion was
seconded by Councilman Bebbington . Upon
roll call, said Resolution was duly declared adopted at a meeting of said Council
