127RESOLUTION NO. 127 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENT TO PAVE A CERTAIN ROAD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, there is a need in the City of Edgewater, Florida, to improve the streets therein; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the said city to do everything possible for the improvement of said city. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA THAT AN INTENTION IS HEREBY DECLARED TO PAVE THE FOLLOWING STREET OR ROAD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, TO -WIT: OLD COUNTY ROAD FROM PARK AVENUE SOUTH TO THE GRAMMAR SCHOOL PROPERTY LINE. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT SAID PAVING SHALL BE DONE AT A COST TO EACH OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE SAID STREET OR ROAD, SAID COST TO BE ASSESSED AT 40t PER FRONT FOOT. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SAID INTENTION SHALL BE HELD AT THE NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA ON JUNE 20, 1966. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT ALL RESOLUTIONSOR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE AND THE SAME ARE HEREBY RESCINDED. The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman Walls who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman Bebbington , and upon a roll call vote the said resolution was duly declared adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 6th day of June 1966.
