1481 RESOLUTION NO. 148 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ELECTION CLERK, INSPECTORS AND A SPECIAL OFFICER FOR THE SPECIAL CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA ON SEPTEMBER 13, 1966. WHEREAS, a special city election shall be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on September 13, 1966,and WHEREAS, it is necessary that an election clerk, inspectors and a special officer be appointed, in compliance with the charter laws of the City of Edgewater, Florida. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida: Section 1. That Clifton Mosher be and he is hereby designated and appointed election clerk for the special city election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, on September 13, 1966, with full power and authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the charter and ordinances of said city and the laws of the State of Florida. Section 2. That Margaret Swinehart, Nell Cratsley, Lilly Williams, Ethel A. Wasserott and Edward Mathis be, and they are hereby designated and appointed inspectors for the special city election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida on September 13, 1966, with full authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the charter and ordinances of said city and the laws of the State of Florida. Section 3. That Troy Reynolds be, and he is hereby designated and appointed as special officer for the special city election to be held in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida on September 13, 1966, with full power and authority to do and perform all the duties of said office as fixed and defined by the charter and ordinances of said city and the laws of the State of Florida. Section 4. Be it further resolved that all resolution and parts of resolution in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman Walls , who moved its adoption, said motion being seconded by Councilman Cairnie , and upon roll call vote the said resolution was duly declared adopted at a spgcial meeting of the said city council held on August 31, 1966.
