149RESOLUTION No. 149 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA ON THE 13th DAY OF SEPTEM$ER A.D.,1966 AND.PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION TO THE CITY OFFICER CHOSEN AT SAID ELECTION. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: 1. That from the canvass of the returns, it is hereby declared that the result of the special election held in the City of Edgewater, Florida, on September 13, 1966 is as follows: FOR UNEXPIRED TERM OF MAYOR Earl L. Tingle received y2�votes. David L. Wiggins, Sr. received —fa —votes. 2. That the City Council of the said city does hereby declare that far/ L. Tin•T // received the highest number of votes cast for the office of Mayor for the balance of the presently existing unexpired term, and the said L ar/ L. Ti'nolt is hereby declared the regularly elected Mayor of said city. 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman Paul F.
