A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACTION OF
THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA ZONING
BOARD, TAKEN AT A PUBLIC HEARING HELD
SEPTEMBER 24, 1968.
WHEREAS, the City of Edgewater, Florida Zoning Board, held 1 ;
public hearing on September 24, 1968 to consider a variance in
zoning request of Maybelle C. Lohman of 511 N. Ridgewood Avenue,
Edgewater, Florida;
AND WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of the City of Edgewater,
Florida recommended that said variance be aranted;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Edgewater, Florida, that the recommendations of the
Zoning Board of the City of Edgewater, Florida, in regard to
the zoning variance request of Maybelle C. Lohman, 511 N. Ridgewood
Avenue, Edgewater, Florida, be approved, and said zoning variance
is hereby granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the recommendations of the
Zoning Board attached hereto becomes a part of this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all resolutions, or parts of
resolutions in conflict herewith be and the some are hereby
rescinded.
The above and foregoing resolution was presented by Councilman
Ledbetter , who moved its adoption, said motion being
seconded by Councilman nietz , and upon roll call vote,
the said resolution was duly declared adopted at a Special Meeting
of said Council held on the 26th day of September, 1968, the vote
of said Council on roll call being as follows!

Gentlemen:
In reference to the application of Mrs. Maybelle
C. Lohman, requesting rezoning from residential to commer-
cial, that portion of her property now zoned residential,
a legal description is attached.
An advertised Public Hearing was held on Tuesday,
September 24, 1968.at 7:30 P.M. in the office of the Mayor.
Four members of the Zoning Board were present.
All property owners within three hundred feet of
the area under consideration, that were present at the hear-
ing, were given an opportunity to be heard. All communica-
tions received in reference to the variance request were
read, made a part of the minutes, and given consideration.
After reviewing all that transpired at the Public
Hearing, your Zoning Board, in unanimous accord, does reco-
mmend that the variance requested by Mrs. Maybelle C. Loh-
man be granted, for the purpose of a shopping area only;
and further, if no construction has been started within
twelve months from date of approval by the City Council,
the property shall revert back to the residential zoning
status.
