6971 oc' CA Igo o�Om �N0a y N W LL ORDINANCE NO. 697 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE EDGEWATER ZONING BOARD PERTAINING TO THE APPLICATION OF DAVID K. McGINNIS FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE EXISTING ZONING UPON PROPERTY OWNED BY HIM; GIVING AND GRANTING UNTO THE SAID DAVID K. MCGINNIS A VARIANCE FROM RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERRCIAL UPON THE SAID PROPERTY, AMENDING SECTION 6 OF ORDINANCE NO. 219 as AMENDED BY SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 368 PROVIDING AN AUTOMATIC TERMINATION OF THIS VARIANCE AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the application of David K. McGinnis requesting a variance from Residential to Commercial zoning of Lots 7 and 8, Block 1, McGUINNIS SUBDIVISION, as per map recorded in Map Book 8, Page 190 of the Public Records of Volusia County, Florida, be and the same is hereby granted and the recommendation of the Edgewater Zoning Board of July 26, 1971 recommending that the application be approved and that the said property be re -zoned from Residential (A-2) to Commercial (B-1) be and the same is hereby approved and ratified. SECTION 2: That the real property described as Lots 7 and 8, Block 1, McGINNIS SUBDIVISION, as per map recorded in Map Book 8, Page 190 of the Public Records of Volusia County, Florida, be and the same is hereby granted a variance from Section 6 of Ordinance No. 219 as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 368 so that the said property which has previously been zoned Residential (A-2) may now be used as Commercial (B-1) upon the condition that the said property be used for the purpose of erecting a storage building and the construction of said storage building shall begin or commence within twelve months from the effective date of this Ordinance; otherwise the said variance shall terminate and the said property shall automatically revert to it's prior zoning classification. 0 e� W Y 6 min 0P Iti - SECTION 3.
