ORDINANCE NO. 768
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REZONING OF THE
MIKE CALDWELL PROPERTY FROM RESIDENTIAL TO
RESORT -RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
(R-R PUD), AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, The Zoning Board held a public hearing on July
25, 1972 at the Community Center, Edgewater, Florida for the
purpose of discussion of the rezoning of the Mike Caldwell property
to R-R PUD and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board pursuant to said public hearing
recommended that the rezoning to R-R PUD be approved by the City
Council, City of Edgewater, Florida,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby accepts the
recommendation of the Zoning Board and approves the Rezoning of
the Mike Caldwell property from residential to Resort -Residential
Planned Unit Development (R-R PUD), said property being more
particularly described as follows:
Part of the SW 4 of the NE 4 of Section 2 T 18 S; R 34 E being
more particularly described as follows: Commence at the NW
comer of the SW 4 of the NE 4.: of Section 2 T 18 S; R 34 E;
thence S 00 06' Ol" E along the W line of the said SW 4 of the
NE 4, a distance of 472.0 feet for the Point of Beginning.
Said Point of Beginning also being the SW comer of Lot 10,
SILVER RIDGE SUBDIVISION UNIT NO. 2 as recorded in Map
Book 27, Page 50 of the Public Records of Volusia County,
Florida; thence continue S 00 06' 01" E along the said W line
of the SW 4 of the NE 4 a distance of 848.08 feet to the SW
comer of the said SW 4 of the NE 4; thence N 890 32' 29" E
along the South line of the said SW 4 of the NE 4, a distance
of 1344. 60 feet to the BE corner of the said SW 4 of the
NE 41thence N 10 5' W along the East line of the said SW 4
of the NE 4 a distance of 651.48 feet; thence N 260 41' 41"
W a distance of 353 feet to the BE corner of Lot 37, SILVER
RIDGE SUBDIVISION UNIT NO. 1, as recorded in Map Book

SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of Ordinances and
all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by
the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the 7th day of August A.D. , 1972.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived
and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, at a regular meetinrf said Council held on the 7th day of
August, 1972, and approved as provided by law; the vote of said
Council upon roll call being as follows:
