827'Q i0 ORDINANCE NO. 827 ORDINANCE VACATING PROGRESS STREET N 0 IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. W H E R E A S , the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida has been advised that Progress Street is an unopened, unrecorded, platted dead-end street which serves no residential area or citizens of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and WHEREAS, the City Council has presented a Resolution of Intent to Vacate Progress Street, said Resolution being presented on the 4th day of June, 1973. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Progress Street in the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida is hereby vacated. SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida are hereby authorized to execute Quit Claim Deeds to the adjacent property owners abutting Progress Street. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, on first reading at a regular meeting of the said Council held on the 18th day of June, 1973.
