WHEREAS, Doris E. Massey, as personal representative of the
estate of John Max Massey, has submitted an application requesting
that the following described property:
That part of Lot 37 of the Assessors Subdivision
of the Alvarez Grant as recorded in Map Book 3
Page 137 of the Public Records of the County of
Volusia, Florida, described as follows: Commence
at the Southwest Corner of said Lot 37, thence
along the South line of said Lot 37 North 740 E.
a distance of 2121.5 feet, thence N. 220 06' W. a
distance of 276.1 feet for the point of beginning,
thence continue N. 220 06' W. a distance of
130 feet, thence run N. 670 37' 40" E. a distance
of 971.32 feet to the West Right -of -Way line of
Mango Drive, thence run along said Right -of -Way
line S. 220 06' E. a distance of 514.5 'tpet to the
South Right -of -Way line of said Lot 37, thence run
South 740 W. a distance of 167.3 feet, thence run
N. 220 06' W. a distance of 365.99 feet, thence run
S. 670 37' 40" a distance of 805 feet to point of

be rezoned from its present zoning classification of Mobile Home
to I-1, Light Industrial District, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held by the Edgewater
Zoning Board, as required under Ordinance 880, and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board has recommended to the Edgewater
City Council that the request of the applicant for rezoning be
granted, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, at a
regular council meeting, has voted in favor of granting the
applicant's request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1: That the following described property:

SECTION 2: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances,
and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions of the City of
Edgewater, Florida, that are in conflict with this Ordinance be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
advertise this Ordinance as required by law.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be come effective immediately
upon its final passage as provided by law.
