EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, Bennett & Davis, Consulting Engineers for Frank Hall
and Mary Hall, his wife have requested that the City vacate an old plat on property
presently owned by Frank Hall and Mary Hall in order that a new subdivision can be platted to be known as the Wildwood Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has consulted with Briley, Wild & Associates,
Consulting Engineers for the City of Edgewater, Florida regarding the propriety of
vacating the plat, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida that it is necessary to vacate the old plat in order that a new
plat to he known as the Wildwood Subdivision may be recorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, hereby
vacates the following platted property which consist of an unopened subdivision:
A parcel of land lying in Section 32, Township 17 South, Range 34
East, Volusia County, Florida, being all of Block B-1 and B-2 and
a part of Block B-3 and B-4, also that part of Marion Street, Joseph
Street, as shown on Map of J. A. Benoits' Subdivision in Map Book 7
page 39 of Public Records of Volusia County, Florida and the platted
portion of Park Avenue and that portion of Lot 42, as shown on the
Assessor's Subdivision of the G. Alvarez Grant as shown on Map in
Map Book 3, Page 137 of the Public Records of Volusia County, Florida
being more particularly described as follows:
As a point of reference commence at the Southwest corner of G.
Alvarez Grant of aforesaid Section 32, thence North 730 44' 24" East
along the South line of G. Alvarez Grant a distance of 269.22 feet
to the point of beginning, thence North 23' 08'10" West a distance of
435. 85 feet to the South R/W of Park Avenue, a 50 foot R/W as now
laid out, thence along the South line of Park Avenue North 67' 00' 54"
East a distance of 593. 52 feet; thence South 23° 08' 10" East along the
East line of J. A. Benoit's Subdivision a distance of 509. 23 feet to a
point in the South line of G. Alvarez Grant, thence South 74' 04' 16"
East along the South line of G. Alvarez Grant a distance of 598. 24
feet to the true point of beginning. Contains 6.44 acres+.
