WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, by Ordinance No. 86-0-20 and pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, has annexed certain real property to the City of Edgewater, more particularly described as follows: See Appendices "A" and "B", attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein with full force and effect as if herein set forth. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, has determined that it will be in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Edgewater, to change the zoning from Volusia County R-3 and Volusia County B-4 to MH-2 and B-3 of the City of Edgewater, as provided by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Edgewater, Florida, said change being in conformity with the general scheme of zoning within the City of Edgewater, and WHEREAS, THE City Council of the City of Edgewater, has determined that such a change is consistent with and beneficial to the orderly growth of the City of Edgewater, and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the .Zoning Ordinance of the City of Edgewater is hereby amended by including within the MH-2 and B-3 districts, the property described in Appendices "A" and "B", copies attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein. SECTION 2. That upon adoption of this ordinance, the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edgewater shall be amended accordingly, as set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance. 0 0 10 The newly created zoning districts described in Section 1 shall NO � M be governed by all applicable sections of the Code of Ordinances Jill of the City of Edgewater. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise this ordinance as provided by law. SECTION 9. All ordinances or parts of ordinances and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. If any section, part of a section, paragraph, clause or phrase or word of this ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall not be affected. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and the approval of the amendments to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan of the City of Edgewater, Florida, as per Part II, Chapter 163, Florida Statutes.
