AN ORDINANCE SETTING A FINAL BUDGET AND APPROPRI-
ATING REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,1983, AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 1984, TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE
GENERAL FUND; THE WATER -SEWER FUND; THE REFUSE
COLLECTION FUND AND OTHER WATER -SEWER FUNDS;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION OF
THIS ORDINANCE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Edgewater, Florida desires to appropriate
from its various funds for the fiscal year 1983-1984, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held the required public hearings
as provided by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGE -
WATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following amount of monies are anticipated
to be collected from the sources of revenue for the General Fund of
the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, during the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1983, and ending September 30, 1984, to -wit;

SECTION 2. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies to be
collected from the sources of revenue as aforementioned, the follow-
ing are the estimated General Fund expenditures during the fiscal
year beginning October 1, 1983, and ending September 30, 1984, to -wit:

SECTION 3. That a copy of a more detailed breakdown of the
General Fund of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, for
1983-1984 is attached hereto as"Exhibit A", being pages 6-22,
inclusive, and incorporated by reference herein, with full force
and effect.
SECTION 4. The amount of $1,009,600.00 is anticipated to be
collected from sources of revenue for the Water -Sewer Funds for the
City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, during the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1983 and ending September 30, 1984, as more
fully laid out in "Exhibit A" at page 25 therein.
SECTION 5. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies of
$1,009,600.00 to be collected from the sources of revenue from the
Water -Sewer Funds for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida,
the anticipated amount of $1,009,600.00 is the estimated Water -Sewer
Funds expenditures during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983
and ending September 30, 1984, as laid out in "Exhibit A", pages
26-29, inclusive.
SECTION 6. The amount of $256,770.00 is anticipated to be
collected from sources of revenue for the Refuse Fund for the City
of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, during the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1983 and ending September 30, 1984, as more fully laid out
in "Exhibit A" at page 35.

SECTION 7. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies of
$256,770.00 to be collected from the sources of revenue from the
Refuse Fund for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida,
the anticipated amount of $256,770.00 is the estimated Refuse
Fund expenditures during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983,
and ending September 30, 1984, as laid out in "Exhibit A", page 36.
SECTION 8. The amount of $65,000.00 is anticipated to be
collected from sources of revenue for the other Water -Sewer Capital
Improvements Fund of the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida,
during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983 and ending
September 30, 1984, as more fully laid out in "Exhibit A" at
page 30 therein.
SECTION 9. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies of
$65,000.00 to be collected from the sources of revenue from the
Water -Sewer Capital Improvements Fund for the City of Edgewater,
Volusia County, Florida, the anticipated amount of $65,000.00 is
the estimated Water -Sewer Capital Improvements Fund expenditures
during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983 and ending September
30, 1984, as laid out in "Exhibit A", page 31.
SECTION 10. The amount of $220,000.00 is anticipated to be
collected from sources of revenue from the Water -Sewer Development
Funds for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, during
the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983 and ending September 30,
1984, as more fully laid out in "Exhibit A" at page 32.
SECTION 11. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies of
$220,000.00 to be collected from the sources of revenue from the
Water -Sewer Development Funds for the City of Edgewater, Volusia
County, Florida, the anticipated amount of $220,000.00 is the
estimated Water -Sewer Development Funds expenditures during the
fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983 and ending September 30, 1984,
as laid out in "Exhibit A", page 33.

SECTION 12. That the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater,
Volusia County, Florida, is hereby directed to appropriate such
anticipated revenues as set forth in Section 1, 4, 6, 8, and 10
herein, to the respective purposes set forth in Sections 2, 5, 7,
9, and 11 herein, as and when the above described and designated
revenues are received and collected.
SECTION 13. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances and
all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 14. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption by the City Council.
SECTION 15. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise
this Ordinance as required by law.
The first reading of said Ordinance was held at the
