AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 18-2, PARKING
OUTSIDE OF MOBILE HOME PARKS —LIVING IN OR STORING MO-
BILE HOMES; REQUIRED TO BE IN PARKS, ETC.; EXCEPTIONS
PERMIT, BY AUTHORIZING THE CITY/CLERK ADMINISTRATOR
TO ISSUE TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION OFFICE PERMITS;
CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION; A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at a regularly scheduled meeting held on the 21st day of July, 1986, asked that
requests for parking of trailers on a temporary basis be removed from the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Edgewater and that this subject be handled
administratively, and directed the City Attorney to prepare an Ordinance on
the subject;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION L. Chapter 18, Section 18-2, Parking outside of mobile
home parks -Living in or storing mobile homes; required to be in parks, etc.,;
exceptions, permit, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
be amended as: Sollows:*
CHAPTER 18 - TRAILERS, MOBILE HOMES,
RECREATION VEHICLES:
PARKS AND PARKING
Section 18-2 - Parking outside of mobile home parks --Living
in or storing mobile homes; required to be in
parks, etc.; exceptions, permit.
A mobile home shall not be parked or set up, lived in or stored
within the city, unless said mobile home is located in a mobile home park zoned
for mobile homes, a mobile home subdivision or in a trailer campsite provided
however, a special permit may be obtained from the city eeeaeii administrator
for any of the following purposes:
(1) For the purpose of night-watchman.
(2) While a home or homes are being constructed.
(3) Construction offices, etc.
This permit shall be valid for a period of three (3) months from
the date of issue and shall be subject to renewal by the city eetlRekl
administrator.

SECTION 2. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances and all re-
solutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith, be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. If anysection, part of a section, paragraph, clause,
phrase or: word of this ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provisions
of this ordinance shall not be affected.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption by the City Council of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, and approval as provided by law.

This ordinance was read on first reading and passed by a vote of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and approval as provided
by law, at a regular meeting of said Council on the 18th day of Auqust ,
1986.
The second reading of this ordinance to be at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, to be held on
the 15th day of September , 1986.
