ORDINANCE NO. 86-0-24
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING APPENDIX A,
ZONING, SECTION 607.00 (b) AND (d),LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT; SECTION 607.01 (b),(c) AND (d), HEAVY
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT; SECTION 607.02 (b) AND (d),
INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT, SECTION 607.03 (c) PLANNED
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, BY INCREASING
PERMITTED USES AND BY DELETING SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS
FROM B-1 THROUGH B-6 FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT,
HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, AND INDUSTRIAL PARK
DISTRICT; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION; A SEVERA-
BILITY CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Edge-
water, Florida, at their regular meeting of May 15, 1986, recommended
amendments to the Industrial Zoning Districts, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
at their regular meeting of July 7, 1986, considered this recommendation and
directed the City Attorney to prepare an Ordinance on the subject;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. Appendix A, Section 607.00 (b) and (d), Light
Industrial District of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Edgewater,
Florida, be amended as follows:

Section 607.00 - Light Industrial District
(b) Permitted Uses
Animal Hospitals, Kennels as indoor facility only;
provided no hospitals, structures, pens or kennels
are located closer than fifty (50) feet to an
residential property line.

Florida, be amended as follows:

SECTION 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances and all resolutions
and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 6. If any section, part of a section, paragraph, clause,
phrase, or word of this ordinance i.s declared invalid, the remaining pro-
visions of this ordinance shall not be affected.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and approval
as provided by law.

This ordinance was read on first reading and passed by a vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and approval as provided
by law, at a regular meeting of said Council on the 4th day of August
1986.
The second reading of this ordinance to be at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, to be held
on the 15th day of August , 1986.
